FALL TRENDS:

I don't know about you but I'm excited for some cozy warm fall clothes.
So here's my preview to you what I'm in love with!

I love everything about this look. This smart leather jacket paired with the halogen skirt from Nordstrom. Amazing for day to night. Who ever styled her knew that her jacket matched the color of her hair. That's no coincidence my friends!

My next look is a very sweet southern belle look that every girlie girl can wear. The peter pan top is definitely something girls in the south are rocking but why not us CALI girls. You can pair this with a floral skirt, some great heels, and amazing clutch and the look is complete.

This is by Ted baker and it comes in many different colors. I just love the sweetness of this pale yellow.

So I love chiffon because it is breathable, effortless, and durable to say the least. You can wear it with jeans, leggings, skirts, or even as a bathing suit cover up.

Love the color by Olivia Moon. GORGE!

LOVE LOVE Color blocking. Yellow, black, purple, pink....you name it. The combination is just brilliant!

Believe it or not these are all $70 and under!

Love boots. And the best time to wear them is in the fall because they really do complete the whole outfit. I love these new booties that have hit the scene. I have had a few booties in my closet for a few years but they never were in trend. However, I still rocked it!

7 for all mankind.

Well ladies...here is my brief preview. Is there anything I'm missing that you think is hot for fall?? Let me know!!
Fashion Consultant...

I would love to be a personal shopper and be able to go shopping and be paid for it. Alas unless you live in LALA there isn't much hope. But a girl can dream right? I guess the plus side is I'm the designated Christmas, Birthday, wedding event stylist to my entire family! And my boyfriend hates shopping and lets me style him with a few restrictions.

1) No pastels-pink, purple, yellow. Bascially nothing that resembles an easter bunny.
2) No plaid. He is not country or a 16 year old.
3) No fruity shoes such as pointy loafers.
4) ABSOLUTELY NO TOMS
5) No peacoats

I think he's pretty handsome!

Anyways,
For all of you fashionistas out there! Anyone interested in attending Fashion Night Out in September??
Who wants to join?

And please if anyone ever needs fashion advice I'm always available.

Vacay

Hey guys!!!
Sorry been MIA but I have been sick, working long hours, and trying to recover from my vacation!!

3 weeks ago Grant and I went to my dear friend, Michelle's wedding in Catalina. I have known Michelle and her family since she and I were in preschool.

She and now her husband met 10 years ago in college at UCSB. Yes, I said 10 years. It was a gorgeous wedding and couldn't have been more perfect! It was casual, relaxing, and couldn't have been more perfect for her.

Because her wedding was on Friday grant and I made a long weekend out of it. Saturday we woke up late and had breakfast and grant signed up for parasailing. I had no desire to be 800 ft in the air. Sorry babe! Then we walked to where the wedding party rented a beach cabana and hung out.
We decided that it was time to walk back and take a nap. I love naps!! They are the best.

After the best nap ever we dressed and had dinner called the Avalon grille. We sat at the bar I had swordfish, my staple drink prosecco and grant had the best filet and red wine. After dinner we roamed the streets did shopping and that night there was a summer concerts series. So we listened and danced!

Sunday came too soon and we had a long day because our flight wasn't till 9 pm. So we took a golf cart tour of the island which was amazing. Even though tried to scare me on the cliffs I had fun! To kill the time we hung out at the bar had some drinks, chips and salsa and waited till our ferry departed! I was sad to leave but secretly planning on next trip!

Things I know

I'm addicted to soy lattes. I wish I had my own personal Starbucks barista in my condo.

I have so many eyeshadows from Mac but only use 2 of the 40 I own.

Hard for me to make new friends outside of the ones I have. Did I mention most of them live 3000 miles away??

I have lost 5lbs just because I have been eating right and doing boxing classes.

Don't really like to go out like I used to. I rather stay in, have a glass of wine and cuddle with my love. Hopefully, that doesn't make me seem old lady like!

Land That I love

After years of always being in Laguna beach every year for the fourth. (cousins birthday) It has been nice to be local and not travel.

Luckily, it was not too hot and we could relax with our friends and BBQ. We even got to see the fireworks across from my old work, at google. Then realization hit I had to work tomorrow. Did I mention I get up at 5am everyday?? It's okay it was worth every moment!! How was your holiday?? I will be in lake Shasta this weekend!

Memorial day weekend

Sorry I have been so MIA but I recently got a new job at pottery barn corporate! So I haven't had much time to blog to you lovely people.

Over memorial day I went with grant to Monterey! He scuba dives and I shop do it all works out. We had a great time. His best friend from college, Marty and his fiancé Alicia also came.

After grant and Marty dove we got to drive to Carmel. My happy place! My family and relatives used to have a place on the beach for 3 summers. So I'm pretty familiar with good old Carmel. The three of us got appetizers and rinks to kill time till Alicia arrived into town.

Day 2 of diving Alicia and myself had 6 hours to kill till they got back. We got a haircut, shopped, drank and ate! It was marvelous!! Here are some pics to share!

Nordstrom

My favorite time of the year is here!!

Are you going??? I love love love Nordstrom! Did you know that I was there the day it opened in Walnut Creek in 1984. Crazy!! My Grandma and my mother were obsessed! It was the only credit card my grandmother refused to let my grandfather see! Gee and I wonder where I get my fashion obsession from??
Can't wait to see what I can buy this weekend to add to my wardrobe!!

Might have to pick this little gem up!
