You think you know but really have no idea!!!

Hi everyone! Well all my friends and family have a blog so I guess 

I should give in and join the "IN" crowd! I know I am not married

(but I do have an amazing boyfriend,Grant), I don't have an amazingly cute daughter

(have lots of cute cousins), I don't live in New York City(my sister does), I don't work for

 Barclay Bank(I do work for Google), I don't make really cool textiles, and I don't have a 

great husband yet, but I do: work for Google, have the most amazing boyfriend a girl could 

ask for, like traveling,am a terrible liar because I smile almost immediately,  love fashion, l

ove anything chocolate, have a wonderful family and friends a girl could ask for, and have the 

natural ability to make anyone laugh about anything. And so I'm sharing all of those amazing characteristics with you! Aren't you excited? Stoked? I know I'm a little excited myself. 

So why don't we start it off with some questions!!

1. Blogging. Why?

Well I think its time to tell the world about me. I mean I'm pretty spectactular. I mean I'm not Kim Kardashian
but hey I think I'm way better than Miss Sex tape. Don't you agree? 

2. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

I wish I wasn't so hard on myself. I'm my biggest critic and Grant and all my family are my cheerleaders.
But hey I guess its because I have so many successful people around me that I always know I can do better. 

3. Chocolate or Vanilla?

Is this even a question?? Chocolate. Chocolate Chocolate. I once went to Switzerland and that country
 should have watched out. I think I bought out their swiss chocolate!!

4. Your favorite movie genre?

I like every genre. It's kind of weird. A good scary movie, chick flicks, oldies, action. But I love
Audrey Hepburn movies.

5. What/who inspires you? 

My mother, even though she left us 5 years ago I know she is watching me all the time. As she always did!
She was an amazing woman. She talked for hours on the phone with her sisters, loved to help everyone,
she volunteered for several charities, planned the most amazing holidays, the best cook and was a preschool teacher,
a real estate agent, property manager, and an event planner. But she would tell her favorite job was being a mother and
 a wife to my dad of 30+ years. They met in college and wed when they were 21and lived the Navy lifestyle for 7 years.
It makes me sad that she didn't get to see my sister and I grow up and fall in love, graduate college, and get our first real
 jobs but I know she couldn't be more prouder. I do miss her everyday but I aspire to be as great as she was!

6. The greatest lesson you have learned in the last year?

I have an amazing boyfriend who I now live with of 2 years. So I think I learn something new everyday by communicating
with my best friend. We have difficult times but at the end of the day I love him and he loves me! Relationships are not easy,
I tell my single friends and sister this all the time but I wouldn't trade it for the world. There is no one that makes me as
happy as Grant does. :)

7. Gun to your head. You have to pick just one favorite movie. What would it be?

Probably the Matrix. When my Aunt and Uncle lived here we watched that movie 20 no 50 times! The best had to be
when that film won an Oscar I couldn't believe it!! Of course my Uncle said, well duh best movie ever made."

8. Where do you see yourself in five years?

Well I will be 33. Married to Grant and well starting to think about having a kid...I mean considering it.
Really considering! HAHA

9. Dream travel spot?

That is easy probably Tahiti. I would love to stay at a place that requires you stay in huts while surrounded by water. 

10. Random fact about yourself? 

Some don't know this but I'm half Lebanese. My mom was middle eastern and although I don't know any arabic
I respect and honor my culture because of my mother. 

11. Favorite way to relax?

Getting into come comfy clothes, having a glass of wine watching one my favorite shows( Mad Men, the good wife)
and relaxing with my love.
